Olympic Dumbbell Bars

Our Olympic dumbbell handles are 2 inches in diameter, allowing them to be used with Olympic plates. This means that if you already have these plates, this is a space efficient and budget-friendly way of owning dumbbells without needing to buy extra weights.

Standard 1 inch Dumbbell Bars

If, on the other hand you already have a weight set with one inch holes, you can go for one of our standard bars. The advantage of opting for a set of dumbbell handles over moulded one-peace weights is that you can add or remove weight as required without the need to own a large amount of separate gym equipment.

Spinlock collars are used on some of the bars. These are where the ends of the bars are threaded, and a separate nut is attached to the end to secure the weights. Our Olympic bars are designed to simply use the same collars as your existing 2" bars.

Once you have chosen the perfect bar for your strength training, you will want to look at our range of weight plates to go with them.

Please remember that our 2 inch dumbbell bars are built to hold Olympic weights and that other plates may not fit. All types of Olympic plates will be compatible, from solid steel to cast iron. It Is worth bearing in mind that larger bumper plates will be unsuitable as the large diameter will impact your mobility during exercise. Extra thin steel plates up to 5kg would be suitable, along with the thin fractional plates to get in between weights.

Train with confidence and a secure grip on our knurled bar centres. And don’t forget to complete your home gym with one of our adjustable weight benches. Ideal for concentration curls as well as dumbbell flies and rear delt raises.
